Mini Thoughts & Thanks!

I’m unaware when my feelings metamorphosed from a big No No to a Biggie Big Yes Yes about compact Coupe cars, but since few months ,I have been adoring and planning to
own a Mini Cooper, which lead to a hullabaloo within my confused mind.

I won't deny that I had a mini debate with myself, assimilated a mini list of basic necessities in life , had some wasteful pondering mini moments , weighed mini pros & cons of my decision since I was going against my traditional concept of a sedan and bum socket comfortable car.

Change can be mind bogging sometimes, but if it brings a smile on your face, then, I guess, it’s worthwhile

What helped me fortify my decision of owning the car was when my friend Shivraj spoke these wise words” One should never cheat on his/her car”.

I looked at him puzzled and he reiterated the words” One should never cheat on his/her car”. If you are sitting in your car and you dream about another car, you are cheating on your car, it’s time to change the car.

Call it infidelity towards my current possession - Nissan Sentra or an eruption of my new simmering love for Mini Cooper, but click , the decision channel changed from YES-NO to YES- YES, Hesitation to affirmation .
Special thanks to Varsha, Sidoo, Rejeesh and Steff, who converted my test drive session, with no intention of buying the car, into a long debatable discussion with Dealer Scott to finalize the deal.

Thanks to Shivraj, indeed you are one of the biggest culprit of plummet dropdown in my savings account besides my own emotions.

I am excited to be a proud owner of 2007 red/white Mini Cooper until my feelings change again.

Short Review on Bhool Bhulaiya!

Bhol Bhulaiya
Priyadarshan , did it again! Yes , with Bhool Bhulaiya - A Physco thriller.
After Hera phera, a prized comedy in the list of movies directed by him , his popularity ebbed out with myriad lowly movies like Dhol ,Bhagam Bhag ,Chup Chup Ke , Malamaal Weekly ,Kyon Ki ,Garam Masala , Hulchul ,Hungama ,Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar all in a row.
The humour in most of the above movies were vapid , forced and a vain attempt to establish jest.
A quality that is deeply appreciated in Priyadarshan movies is his attempt in preserving Indian culture and tradition .His storyline usually revolves around rural background and motif is usually fun and frolic in a small town or among the protagonists .This helps desi audience to establish connection with his motion pictures easily as they are an authentic display of realism , unlike few bollywood directors , who take pleasure in grandiose display of glamour by shooting in foreign locations.
Indeed the undulating popularity of priyadarshan is now (after Bhol Bhulaiya) at a smooth rise , after a series of downfall. Bhol Bhulaiya showcases a good attempt in reviving humour , quiver , music , acting and dance which got a little sidetracked in his previous movies. The movie is overall a good watch since the direction was fairly matured , the actors performed well, the songs managed to keep the tempo enjoyable , story created fear , encouraged laughter at times and suspense was an unexpected twist.
The Actors:
Vidya Balan :She did a good display of emotions and is a complete package of a perfect actress .
Akshay : Smiles at his best ,acts well and is a perfect candidate for comedy.
Shiny Ahuja :Needs a lot of polishing in acting to become a good thespian , which can definitely be his imminent characteristic with experience, in due course of time. His vague ,loud and out of the blue decibal pitches , were an amateur display of anger and frustration.
Rajpal Yadav :His erattic behaviour manages to draw little humour from time to time .
Paresh Rawal:His proud acceptance of lacking courage in the movie and succumbing to fear easily, on a slight vision of paranormal phenomenon, in the manor is admirable.
Asrani: He is funny at times with his false display of valour.
Vineeth: Any classical dance involving men tends to resemble a "Gay Performance" , but can't deny , that he is a perfectionist , when it comes to indian classical dancing.
Music: The background score was a good attempt and songs like "Laboon Ko" and title song "Bhool Bhlaiya,Hare Rama and Hare Krishna" truly created a realm of ecstasy and fun.
Critiques were not impressed with this movie and rated it poorly but I feel it was a good attempt to make something different.
I don't want to narrate the entire movie , Kudos to Priyadarshan and all actors involved !
It’s a Good One….Watch it!

Listen to your heart!

It is quandary to hear few young people get downcast by their own age " oh! I'm old now ".A further inquiry into the number of days they walked on this earth , leads me into bewilderment of the highest magnitude as if age is an ugly devil , ready to scare and devour them.

It is amazing how mortals react to their own invention-AGE ,man created this unit of measurement and becomes slavishly submissive to it.Isn't age , a man made invention and
Doesn't man become old ,when he feels it right from the source -An abode of soul, heart and not just by mere numbers?

By fearing numbers most of us grow senile before the actual degeneration of muscles and undoubtedly , this happens when we stop thinking from the source and let our intellect govern us.

There is a different pleasure in feeling our existence through heart. To all the stalwarts of intellectual exuberance , I dedicate this beautiful song :

Listen to your heart by Roxette

Listen to your heartwhen he's calling for you.
Listen to your heartthere's nothing else you can do
